The Human Resources Manager is responsible for day-to-day functions in Human Resources with emphasis on HR workflow, employment, payroll-related data entry, new hire set-up, and administrative support. Talent Management and Recruitment, Talent Administration and Compliance, Team Benefits, Company Rewards and Recognition Programs, Policy Formulation, and Employee Relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Full life cycle hiring. Directs and manages the staffing process by identifying sources of talent, screening, interviewing, and testing applicants; notifying existing staff of internal opportunities; maintaining personnel records
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
  • Administer company benefits including enrolling and terminating benefits, assisting with employee questions/concerns, completing audits, and communicating with the payroll processing company and benefits carriers as needed
  • Payroll participation. Ensures payroll processing by monitoring manager’s daily employee time sheets for editing; maintains records, process payroll and check distribution
  • Promote knowledge, understanding, and compliance with regard to company policy and relevant employment laws through coaching, presentations, and training
  • Maintains human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations/exit interviews, changes in job classifications, merit increase, tracking vacation, sick and personal time
  • Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information highly confidential

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in HR or related field
  • Prior HR leadership experience 5 years minimum
  • Ability and confidence to coach, counsel, mentor, and influence staff, coworkers, and others
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of using Microsoft Office products
  • Adaptability to use unique software applications for HR functions
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills as well as ability to multi-task in completing several projects in tangent
  • Problem solver who is able to formulate solutions and properly convey those solutions to leadership
  • Ability to work independently of supervision
  • Willingness to assist in administrative functions when/where needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
