Job Description :

Manufacturing Facility in Knoxville, TN. is seeking highly skilled, experienced HR Generalist to join our growing organization. Candidate will be responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level working closely with HR management.

Candidate must have a proven track record in the following areas: Benefits Administration, Policy Implementation, and Employment Law Compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Executes professional HR objectives, practices and policies to meet business needs.

· Ensure data accuracy for benefit related data, including enrollment, deductions, COBRA, and benefit changes.

· Ensure Compliance with Government Regulations related to employment, compensation, benefits, training, and ACA Mandates.

· Maintain knowledge of and analyze government regulations and compliance.

· Assists in evaluation of reports, decision, and results of departments in relation to established goals & objectives.

· Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of department and services performed.

· Manage the annual open enrollment process, including employee communication, coordination with providers and payroll.

· Responsible for responding to and resolving team members’ benefit questions and requests.

· Process FMLA in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as company policy. Submit Short Term Disability claims concurrent with FMLA when applicable.

· Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

· Strategic decision making and tactical human resources experience.

· Knowledge working with internal policies and procedures to ensure continuity of HR & Company programs.

· Strong communication skills written and verbal, including presentations before small and large groups.

· Ability to provide after-hours support, as needed or required.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field with 3 to 5 years of HR experience.

· Manufacturing environment preferred.

· Candidate needs to have strong interpersonal, communication & organizational skills.

· Experienced working in a fast paced environment.
