Job Description :

Trident Trust is a global corporate, fiduciary, and fund services provider, spanning 25 countries and over 1,000 staff. Trident Trust is looking for a bright and ambitious Human Resources Assistant who is interested in solving problems, improving company processes and having a direct impact on the business. The ideal candidate will a portion of the company's payroll applications, onboarding and offboarding processes, and will often be asked to assist with strategic HR initiatives. The right candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who can manage well in a fast-paced environment and thrive in an innovative company. This role will report to the Head of HR for North America.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Administers payroll for the HR Department to support over 150 employees in the United States.
  • Process, verify, and maintain HR related documentation, including training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Obtains paperwork from new employees to implement new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Record data for each employee to include addresses, earnings, absences, supervisory reports on performance, and termination information.
  • Explain company policies, benefits, and procedures to employees.
  • Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs.
  • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for HR actions.
  • Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to HR activities.
  • Assist with weekly / monthly HR reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communications, business or another related field.
  • Educational knowledge, completed internship, or entry level understanding of human resources practices.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and communication.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws regarding employment practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills- verbal and written.
  • Commitment to quality and strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible and comfortable dealing with variable workload, frequently dealing with several ongoing matters, at the same time.
  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities as well as be self-directed within a team setting.
  • Efficiently and effectively work under pressure.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT:

Office based. Transportation back/forth to local banks and post office may be required. Ability to work-from-home available upon request.

Compensation:

An attractive compensation package is available and will be based upon the successful candidate’s relevant experience and overall suitability for the position.
