The Housekeeper performs a combination of light and heavy cleaning duties to ensure cleanly apartment homes and common areas as assigned. Maintains a clean and safe community for residents, team members and guests. Fosters a homelike atmosphere throughout the residence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Clean and disinfect common areas of the Assisted Living Community as well as the Community Room of the cottages.
• Cleans bathrooms: clean toilet bowl, sinks and bathtubs, wipe counter tops, clean mirrors, and sterilize floors
• Wash inside of windows as needed
• Cleaning associated with emergency or on demand needs.
• Special cleaning projects as needed or assigned by the housing director.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and storage areas for supplies.
• Coordinate with Housing Director to monitor and comply with housekeeping supply budget.
• Assist with laundry duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by the Housing Director.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 or over.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to communicate effectively.
• Manual dexterity required to handle equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment.
• Ability to exhibit professional behavior and attitudes.
• Demonstrate overall positive image and attitude.
