Qualifications

• Passing Mandatory Drug Testing prior to start of position (Test prepaid by New Hire and will be reimbursed after 90 Day Probationary Period)
• Three References of Managers or Direct Supervisors
• Bartending/F&B Background

Job Description

• Serve as an ambassador & leader creating a Love+Aloha guest experience at our hotel Pool Bar, In Room Dining, and VIP Room called the MonkeyPod Room. .
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
• Conduct Inventory of food and drink items before and after hours of operations.
• Mix and serves drinks.
• Cook and Prepare Light meals
• Be able to work independent and make sound decisions.
• Work well with others and with leaders of different departments to create a flawless operational environment.
• Communicate with managers and leaders when issues arises to ensure the safety of our guests and protecting the interests of the hotel.
• Clean and sanitize work shift areas following food safety procedures and food handling procedures.
• This is a tipped position.

Prerequisites

• Previous experience in a line position in Food & Beverage.
• Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems, point of sale POS system. Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, inventory control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
• Food Handling and Safety certification.
• Bartending or Bar Back experience preferred.
