A high-growth convergent infrastructure & services company is looking for Helpdesk Support Technicians for the Mid-Atlantic market. We continue to expand our team of well-respected individuals that are interested in contributing their skills and vision to our team-oriented organization. The selected individual would work in Hanover, MD with an existing team of project managers, technicians, and business development personnel to provide services to clients nationwide.

The selected team member(s) will have the proven ability to integrate multiple technologies & vendors and manage fast-paced telecom & IT infrastructure projects and teams within the scope and timelines required for the attainment of project milestones and overall performance. The position offered will be instrumental to the deployment, integration, and operation of telecom & IoT infrastructure and services.

Technical Responsibilities include:

  • Provide Level 2/3 support to Helpdesk personnel in clearing client trouble tickets.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day network issues (firewalls, switches, routers, etc.)
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with end devices such as Point-of-Sale, Wi-Fi Access Points, Access Control Systems, CCTV cameras, etc.
  • Be available to work scheduled On-Call hours as part of the team to include evenings and weekends.
  • Travel required on an as needed basis.
  • Implement SOW requirements to ensure attainment of project goals and objectives across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate to ensure project success via pre-deployment planning, deployment meetings, client interfacing, and managing deliverables.
  • Meet regularly with clients and anticipate future technology/contract needs and strategies to maximize Noovis’ performance and involvement.
  • Successfully manage multiple concurrent projects, understanding and effectively interfacing with multiple clients and their respective teams.
  • Actively participate in the recruiting and training of project staff, contracts, and other required resources to secure additional clients and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements for all personnel and third-party vendors.
  • Review, monitor and improve existing processes and interactions with clients. The goal is to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Embrace strong work ethic personally and throughout company and client teams.
  • Work closely with the Noovis Business Development team to create proposals/solutions for future business.

Additional requirements include:

  • Excellent customer service is a must.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or complete a project or task alone.
  • Familiarity with the ConnectWise suite of products is a plus.
  • Knowledge of mainstream Network Management and Monitoring Software.
  • Ability to resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
  • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions in a fast faced IT company.
  • Advanced troubleshooting of firewalls, Point of Sale, WIFI Access Points, and network infrastructure.
  • Ability to provide results, with quality and safety baselines, in a multi-vendor/multi-project environment.
  • Prior experience with Hospitality IoT technology is a plus.
  • Task management and coordination including daily, weekly, and project level scheduling.
  • Scheduling and leading meetings for status and progress with all stakeholders as well as leading or coordinating live chat/call daily meetings with on-site technicians.
  • Maintaining detailed spreadsheets in coordination with admins and client reps capturing all relevant details and progress.
