Faux Pas Prints is an established screen printing and embroidery company looking for an extremely creative, highly motivated, detailed oriented individual that can work in a high paced environment to join our art dept. as a graphic designer/artist/vinyl cutter creating designs and color separations for custom apparel and promotional items.

THIS IS AN IN HOUSE POSITION, THIS IS NOT A FREELANCE ARTISTS POSITION

‪Job Responsibilities:

• Design and create artwork and color separations for screen printing on textiles.

• Create new designs from a customer’s logo and/or original idea.

• Cleanup and vectorization of existing artwork and/or logos.

• Design, cut, and weed vinyl transfers and stickers on a vinyl cutter/plotter.

• Communicate with customers and fellow employees on work orders.

• Maintain all equipment including computers, plotters, and printers.

• Help in the Heat Seal production area as needed.

‪Job Qualifications:

• Have practical knowledge and experience with screen printing on textiles.

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Proficient on Mac OS.

• Attention to detail in both design and production.

• Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.

• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

• Illustration skills required.

• Proven graphic design experience a plus.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Detail oriented.

• Excellent Time-management skills.

• Ability to handle rejection.

Must be able to present a strong portfolio to showcase your design and illustration skills.
