RLR Associates, Inc. (RLR) is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer who possesses a keen understanding of illustrative and layout design, and capability to organize presentations and publications intended to be utilized in branded environments, museum spaces, and exhibit design. Successful candidates will have strong conceptual design, typographic, visual communication, and problem-solving skills. The position’s responsibilities include assisting in all phases of a project from concepting, design development, programming through implementation.
The position requires a designer with strong research and organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with the client to create and execute the proper visual interpretation of the client’s message to the desired audience.
Requirements + Desired Skills:
· Bachelor’s Degree in graphic, industrial, interior design, architecture, or related fields
· Previous experience in exhibit design, or a related internship, a plus
· Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and other visual design tools
· Familiarity with Revit, Sketchup and/or AutoCAD, a plus
· Capacity to understand architectural scales, dimensions, plans and elevations
· Ability to quickly generate numerous initial design concepts and develop them into final design solutions
· Knowledge about products, production methods & process, fabrication, a plus
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· A well-rounded individual with excellent design and presentation skills
· Ability to work with others in a collaborative environment

RLR is an experiential graphic design firm based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with close to 30 years of developing ideas that brand or extend the brand of an entity or place. We work directly with municipalities, institutions, and corporations—collaborating with them as a subject matter expert. The variety of work includes sports/entertainment, cultural, healthcare, higher education, and government sectors.

The studio is located just outside Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, offering quick access to unique local eateries, public transit, and close to I-65/70.
