Job Description :

We are looking for someone with an upbeat attitude to come join our marketing and design team, one of your main dutties will be managing our social media by creating adds and post for our website and instagram.

Knowledge in the adobe creative suite programs, specially Illustrator and Photoshop is a must. It is your job to help the lead designer complete all print and electronic media projects. You will be in charge of designing and printing and laminating all of our stickers and decals and you can assist by drawing, coloring, and adding finishing touches to landscape designs. You can also help prepare marketing materials, create print layouts, give creative input, develop logos and images.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Social media design
  • Create new Collateral material for Garden center and possible other bussines
  • Updating the brand on existing collateral
  • Layout design
  • Building on and maintaining brand elements
  • May include but are not limited to:
  • Icons, Illustrations, logos
  • Photography (applying filters or light photo editing stock)
  • Updating design and layout of web pages
  • Maintaining and creating brand templates.
  • Possibly rendering (exporting) video

Qualifications

STRONG PREFERENCE FOR

  • Attention to detail
  • Passion for designing creative/expressive experiences and solving unique problems
  • Strong interest in using inclusive research processes to inform design decisions
  • Passion for learning new skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working with design software including:
  • Adobe suite
  • Illustrator
  • Photoshop

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with a professional printer and laminator machine.
  • Experience with any CAD program
  • Bilingual

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • Associate (Required)

Experience:

  • Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Required)
  • Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Required)

Language:

  • Spanish (Preferred)
