Generator Sales Assistant

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Power Systems Sales Manager, the Generator Sales Assistant is responsible for the following tasks:

Provide effective and efficient clerical office support for assigned sales engineers

• Provide professional sales support and administrative assistance to assigned sales engineers
• Organize and document customer quotes
• Relay messages to sales force in a timely manner
• Provide support for incoming phone calls
• Process customer tax certificates and credit applications
• Process incoming and outgoing mail
• Assemble technical bid review binders
• Maintain quote & project development information in CRM system
• Assist Credit Department with collecting all past due invoices and follow up on collection of funds
• Coordinate customer opportunities and inquiries for all H.O. Penn products, services, & equipment
• Assist with promotional and marketing efforts
• Conduct marketing activities based on market information

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a clerical support role or related position required
• Must be proficient with MS Office with high proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced sales environment
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

Essential Physical Job Qualifications:

• Standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time
• Hand coordination (typing and writing)
• Occasional forward bending and reaching
• Occasional walking and climbing stairs
• Carrying (up to 20lbs.)
