Carstar Yokums Body shops is looking to fill the key position of Body Shop Manager for two facilities/locations. We are so excited to find our new rock star to move/relocate to our beautiful area we are offering to pay portions of Rent for a single family residence for the right candidate! Housing is so expensive right now across the country we don't want our new rock star to worry about anything except exceeding performance goals for the shop, including sales growth and gross profit on labor parts, paint and materials.

Carstar Yokums Body Shops is a family-owned business with over 38 years’ experience. We are looking for an experienced Collision Center Manager to join our winning team. Our goal is to exceed our customers' goals at every level.

This position is a hybrid position overseeing two Carstar locations only minutes apart here in beautiful Mendocino County. We are seeking a hands-on Manager with a customer forward attitude. The ideal candidate must be a sales-oriented, motivated professional capable of writing accurate and profitable estimates on a variety of vehicles. Must have experience working with a variety of insurance companies.

Responsibilities: Establish long-term and short-term goals to ensure the shop is successful. Lead your team by ensuring estimating and sales target objectives are met. Communicate performance objectives to all personnel Identify, establish, and monitor financial performance goals for the shop including sales growth and gross profit on labor parts, paint and materials, and sublet. Control overhead expenses and assist in the management of receivables. Set standards and develop action plans to facilitate the improvement of business performance and standards for quality, customer service and satisfaction, promotional efforts, and employee satisfaction and retention. Manage the retention of personnel as needed to achieve objectives and maintain the long-term health of the business. Continually improve the skill level of all personnel by facilitating training opportunities and on-the-job skills enhancement. Evaluate employees routinely including annual performance reviews to assist all employees in working to their individual potentials. Manage the primary relationships with outside entities including insurers, vendors, major customers, and the community. Proactively manage the customer service and quality assurance levels of the business Direct the repair process to achieve repair quality standards, consistent priorities, and high productivity. Ability to write estimates for multiple insurance companies. Reviews supplemental damage with technicians and insurance adjusters. Quality inspects the vehicle following repairs to verify that repairs have been done properly.
