MG'S PRIME TIME CAFE AND EVENT CENTER is seeking enthusiastic bartenders that are also able to do a small amount of cooking of our limited menu like chicken wings, burgers, pizza and appetizers. Great bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation $8.00-$15.00 per hour plus tips with combined hourly and tip earnings of 20.00-40.00 per hour depending on the shift worked. Hiring for various days and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Prepare and serve food orders from our menu of short order foods (wings, burgers, sandwiches, fried foods)
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Sell Beer from beer tubs during concerts
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Short order and grill cooking experience
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer and POS System literacy a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate

Requirements
*Must have bartender and some cooking experience and it must be verifiable though reference checks.
*Must not have been terminated from previous employment for drug use, theft or attendance issues.

Pay Rate varies from $8.00 per hour plus tips to $15.00 per hour plus tips and can result in per shift combined earnings of $100.00-$400.00 depending on business, and the bar tenders abilities to give great customer service.
