Job Description :

Summary: The Executive Legal Assistant will provide support with various tasks including legal research, drafting, and reviewing contracts and other documents; communicating with third parties; and organizing and maintaining files and systems in collaboration with General Counsel and the company’s Payer Relations, and Lease Management. Mostly Remote.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing, reviewing and/or revising agreements, online terms and conditions, and various other documents
  • Managing contract workflow, including managing contract inbox, contract data entry, and contract reporting and analysis
  • Serving as a point of contact for new legal queries from staff and working with General Counsel to analyze issues and obtain additional relevant information
  • Communicating with vendors, other third parties, and their respective representatives
  • Reviewing incoming legal correspondence and mail and distributing appropriately
  • Drafting documents and correspondence
  • Performing basic research utilizing legal reference publications, computer databases and other tools
  • Handling specialized administrative functions, such as entering information into electronic databases and files maintained and utilized by General Counsel and maintaining confidential files subject to attorney client privilege relating to legal matters
  • Performing other functions such as proofreading, redlining, preparing indices for documents, maintaining, and updating templates, and organizing and maintaining reference materials and databases
  • Exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters involving legal and regulatory compliance issues
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

· Associate Degree in a business-related field or equivalent, related work experience.

· 2-5 years’ experience supporting executive level management

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field

· Experience in the health care industry

  • Experience in abstracting and analyzing patient data including experience utilizing Electronic Health Records and Electronic Medical Records such as Qualifacts/CareLogic, Excel, and other data management platforms.
