We are looking for a Writing Teacher to teach during the current school year.

Our 20th-year anniversary marks an important milestone for the company as we look back on our incredible history of talented staff and hardworking students. Here at Brighter Future, we are continually investing in new generations of establishing successful and strong foundations for our past and new students. We teach Math up to 10G and Writing from 2G - 8G.

Details:

• 20 - 25 hours / per week
• Typical shift would be Mon - Fri from 1:40 - 6:40 pm
• Extra hours can be arranged per request, essay grading is always needed
• Located in a bright, sunny office in San Jose (Cupertino area)
• You’ll be working with students of these groups: 2G - 3G / 4G - 5G / 6G - 8G
• Training will be provided; you will start with a training trial of 2 weeks
• The curriculum will be provided - no lesson planning is needed on your end
• This role is currently Part-Time, but has potential for Full-Time come our Summer Program 2023
• This position reports directly to our Director and Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Follow and preview our curriculum a week before class
• Review concepts and sharpen writing skills for students
• Grade students’ Rough and Final Drafts
• Monitor students in our Study Hall to ensure completion of classwork, homework, and drafts
• Guide students to use proper grammar and spelling
