The Maintenance group at Haartz is looking for a highly-motivated Industrial Journeyman Electrician on the mid-shift to join our growing team! New ideas, new technologies and new ways of thinking are driving our future!

This is what you will be doing:

As a Journeyman Electrician on the mid-shift, you will be responsible installing and repairing electrical facility systems and electrical components of industrial equipment.

Some Responsibilities below:

  • Install control level wiring and electrical conduit for work orders and projects to repair or upgrade production machines and other equipment.
  • Terminate power and control wiring to machines and equipment based on electrical drawings.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical & control systems including PLC and I/O based systems, AC & DC drives, load cell and isolation amplifiers, transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, etc.
  • Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunction with other maintenance workers and plant personnel to diagnose problems.
  • Replace faulty electrical components on equipment such as relays, amplifiers, motors, drives, position sensors, and other control devices.
  • Assist mechanical personnel when additional resources are needed.
  • Work safely and follow all safety and environmental guidelines as specified by Haartz.

Hours/Shifts: 1:30 PM - 11:30 PM, Rotation schedule for Saturdays. Overtime after 8 hours

This is what you should bring:

Trade school or vocational school graduate and/or accredited apprenticeship program graduate. Two or more years’ experience as a Journeyman electrician. Industrial experience required. Massachusetts Journeyman Electrical License required. Must have a valid driver's license.
