As a leader and school Director, you will play a key role by inspiring your team to achieve excellence, creating meaningful relationships, advocating for the education and wellbeing of children and leading a high quality Preschool. Job Responsibilities

• Create strong relationships resulting in a high rate of retention and referrals by creating a WOW customer experience.
• Build a nurturing and positive learning environment by encouraging the growth and development Children.
• Create a culture of support within the school (for staff, families and children).
• Achieve school occupancy goals by providing school tours and following the school enrolment process.
• Inspire and engage the management team, teachers by example and provide mentoring and coaching.
• Recruiting, training, scheduling and evaluating quality staff through classroom observations, scheduled staff meeting one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
• Ensures that all staff are following Professional Development requirements.
• Learn all essential functions for each position in the school.
• Uphold discretion in dealing with all confidential matters and information.
• Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children and staff members.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and state licensing regulations.
• Strong understanding of Texas Minimum Standards and industry best practices.
• Working knowledge and understanding of all state licensing requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of state and local requirements, including third party contracts.
• Maintains administrative records in compliance with company policy and state regulations.
• Maintains building, equipment and grounds through regular safety checks to ensure a safe environment.
• Technologically savvy and able to quickly learn new preschool software applications.
• Ensures accurate financial and key performance indicators.
• Work alongside with the Owners & management team to execute efforts of change that result in continuous improvement of the school both operationally and financially.

Job Qualifications:

• 5 years and more experience in being responsible for the leadership of a large, highly skilled team.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field
• Director's License
• ProCare experience
• Experience in child-care management preferred (40+ employees desired)
• Knowledge of Texas state licensing
• Experience with staffing and scheduling
• Demonstrate strong customer service
• Computer literate in Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must possess or be able to obtain Background Check, CPR and First Aid certification
• Proficient writing and interpersonal skills
• Ability to concentrate on many tasks at a single time
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Professional demeanour
• Comfortable with public speaking

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of Director experience in a licensed Preschool (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
