The Digital Web Marketing Specialist primarily executes online tactics for the organizations’ website including creating a web experience that make visitors want to take action. Your role also entails creating and analyzing digital media and web reports to recommend how to enhance our digital experience, and later implement these changes! As the key driver of SEO, this position is responsible for taxonomy, tagging, and monitoring of organic performance. Responsibilities:
What You Will Do:
- Act as the administrator for the website content management system (CMS), implementing content management strategies to maintain information integrity, accuracy, and relevance.

Updates webpages as well as creates and executes new page builds through utilization of the content management system, ensuring an effective and timely product is brought to market.

Responsible for developing page layouts, modifying navigation, and ultimately managing the visual and content published to the primary website.

Accountable for ensuring content is accurate, visually appealing, consistently represented, functions across browsers, and is put together in a way that maximizes engagement through an exceptional user experience.

Review elements of site design from a human factors / user experience (UX) perspective to ensure maximum usability and alignment with the company’s overall objectives.

Execute the organization’s search engine optimization (SEO) strategy, including tagging, structure, and taxonomy, making sure web content is found by consumers who are looking for financial services, information, and solutions.

Possess an understanding of web analytics and testing tools such as Google Analytics, HotJar, Heap, Mixpanel, etc., to measure performance against both benchmark KPIs and industry standards, while providing data-driven recommendations/optimizations.

Independently identifies opportunities to remediate and optimize site architecture, infrastructure, sitemaps, robots.txt file, canonical URL, meta data, and other factors.

Will work to be an expert in UWCU’s CMS. Understanding all design capabilities of current system and leading template development to add additional capabilities.

Collaborate with management, peers, and experts throughout the organization, maintain strong relationships and utilize consultative skills.

Forecast workload volume and provide informational status updates to ensure availability to meet demands and establish priority guidelines and communicate potential changes to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Coordinate across divisions and manage project deadlines to ensure web projects are completed on time and in alignment with established goals.

Partners with IT, IS and/or Marketing teams on implementing changes to maintain website health as well as enhance overall site and search performance.
Qualifications:
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- Degree/Diploma Obtained: Associates/Bachelors

Program of Study: Digital Marketing, Business Marketing, Communications, or related field

4-5 years content management systems, and website strategy required

Skilled in the use of content sharing software, including content management systems and MS SharePoint

Experience in web page design and user experience

Proficient in use of website testing software and website analytics platforms.

Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills and ability to work in a cohesive team environment.

Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline and detail driven environment

Understanding of web user experience and flow in responsive environment.
