Coral Gables Trust is seeking a Deputy Director of Marketing to join our team FULL-TIME, IN-HOUSE, in Coral Gables, FL. The Deputy Director will be responsible for executing the integrated marketing initiatives to help service our four locations across South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Palm Beach.) The Deputy Director will gain experience in all aspects of marketing, including strategy development, public relations, branding, content creation, and analytics efforts that will position Coral Gables Trust to engage with prospective and current clients as well as our ever-expanding workforce. The Deputy Marketing Director will report directly to CGT’s Strategic Advisor, an award-winning, NYT bestselling author.This is an internal and external marketing and communications role; we care as much about our employees as we do about our clients.
How You'll Contribute to Our Mission.
· Source, produce, and oversee the fact-checking for articles, quarterly updates, internal and external communiqués, newsletters, and more
· Maintain and help coordinate editorial process documents and knowledge repositories, assist with internal business communications, and the planning, monitoring, and tracking of our CRM
· Liaise with other business areas, such as Legal, Accounts, Finance, and HR, to facilitate and nurture a collaborative, supportive and inspirational office environment
What we're looking for:
Must-have's:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or another related business discipline
· Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services marketing
· A master generalist with superior project management, problem-solving, and time management skills
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to distill complex ideas into compelling and easy-to-digest language
· Highly self-motivated individual with a strong and creative entrepreneurial spirit
· Exceptional interpersonal and relationship development skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple lines of business and colleagues at all levels
· Ability to exercise judgment in managing confidential or sensitive information, maintain poise under pressure—equally with clients and team members
· A high degree of professionalism and flexibility in a demanding and frequently changing environment
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook and Teams, and project management tools
Nice to have's:
· Prior experience working on a CRM preferred (Salesforce, Redtail, etc.)
· Experience in, knowledge, and deep understanding of branded content and all its metrics
· A strong pulse on global news and diversified pop culture stories and mediums
· The perfect blend of creativity and editorial instinct
· Experience scripting and producing audio or video
· Experience with project management software programs, such as Asana, Monday, etc.
· Experience creating content for a variety of client categories, including Wealth Management, Financial Planning, Trust Advisory, and Personal Finance
