ARE LOOKING FOR A

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain thorough knowledge of Hillsdale Shopping Center’s amenities, facilities, stores, and services.
• Greet shoppers enthusiastically and provide excellent customer service to on-site customers as well as customers calling in.
• Sell Shopping Center Gift Cards ensuring proper accounting procedures are followed.
• Work cooperatively and provide support to other Hillsdale Shopping Center departments including Gift Card Accounting, Mall Management, Marketing, Operations, and Security as requested.
• Assist Marketing with mailings, directory updates, signage updates, newsletter distribution, and tenant communication.
• Participate in marketing promotions and special events happening at Hillsdale Shopping Center.
• Provide customers with wheelchair and stroller rentals (Kiddie Kruzzers). Ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Sanitize all rented equipment immediately or as soon as possible upon return of the item.
• Conduct all service functions of the Customer Service Center, including answering phones, customer complaints, and lost and found.
• Inform customers of external information as requested, i.e.: Transportation (Bus Service/Taxi Service), Restaurants, Hotels, Freeways/Highways, Parking, Banking, Directions
• Participate in regular clean-up of the Customer Service Center including workspace area and storage areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years of cashier/retail experience and customer service experience preferred.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effectively communicate with customers, retailers, security, and management in a positive, friendly, and professional manner.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints with a positive attitude.
• Strong working knowledge of computers and office equipment, including knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and graphic design software.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour
