The Operations Manager oversees a broad range of activities and services related to Material On-Time Delivery (OTD), 3PL performance, Inventory control & Quality within their respective customer site(s). In this role, you will lead a team comprised of both direct and indirect reports who are responsible for directing logistics operations from international & regional warehouses into customer clean rooms.
Ensure excellence in all aspects of local warehousing, last-mile freight, In-Fab material handling, quality & inventory control across the continental region. Ensure that daily operations perform within SLA, cost, scope and safety requirements.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Role and responsibilities
Manage assigned customer(s) supply chain operations within the assigned region. Responsible for managing assigned site(s) performance, day-to-day operations, third party vendors, while building up relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to meet local engineering project and customer demands.
Responsibilities related to:
Performance Management:

Manage site operations teams who are responsible for warehousing, freight, material handling & quality at a customer site.

Monitor performance of third party logistics (3PL) providers to uphold contractual service level agreements and OTD targets.

Provide staffing plans and capacity requirements to Regional Operations Managers, while driving efficient operations and identifying constraints before they occur.

Oversee the execution of Value Added Services (VAS) performed by local vendors and 3PL’s.

Manage the return, repair & inspection of tool quality programs with external vendors.

Ensure proper RCA on DOA materials to prevent quality escalations inside customer fabs by managing preventative maintenance program and clean room irregularity inspection process.
Cost Management:

Determine annual staffing and infrastructure requirements based on business growth for your customer site(s).

Align with local account teams to determine potential customer growth to ensure that local infrastructure can meet the increase in demand.

Optimize VAS programs, while driving a 7% annual cost reduction initiative cross region.
Stakeholder Account Management:

Manage and improve both internal and external customer relationships, communication and performances on a day-to-day basis. Meet with and provide reports while supportingcontinuous improvements for local and regional teams.
Process and Development:

Education and experience
- Bachelor degree in Business Engineering or Supply Chain, preferable master degree or equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years of relevant field experience in a complex customer oriented (logistics) environment.

Knowledge of business complexity, supply chain and/or relevant industry.

Exceptional Excel, analytical and ERP (SAP) system skills are preferred.

Experience in implementing of new processes across the supply chain against agreed costs.

Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing, logistics, process mapping and project management techniques highly valued.

Excellent social and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
-
Competencies in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of ASML supply chain procedures is preferred.

Customer Supply Chain is responsible for all customer supply chain activities (machines deliveries, upgrades at customer sites, spare parts management), inbound and outbound flows to and from the factories.
Strong interfaces with other supply chain departments, ASML Factories, Central Planning, Field offices, Account Team and Customer Service departments will be required.
