Accountant / Cost Accountant

Leading high-tech electronic components and subsystems, globally recognized manufacturing company, is looking for an Accountant with strong Cost Accounting experience to join their team. As the Accountant / Cost Accountant, you will perform numerous costing exercises, including labor collection analysis, RFQs, cancellations, and outsourcing. The Accountant / Cost Accountant will organize common cost measures for parts and supports manufacturing areas with inventory flow, reporting in the system, factory cost, average selling price, and inventory.

Salary: $55,000 to $80,000 / per year

Work Location: Salisbury, Maryland

Shift & Schedule: Monday to Friday / Day Shift

What you will do:

• Review and maintain financial procedures
• Maintain inventory classifications and reporting
• Maintain standard cost measures and inventory reserves
• Account analysis
• Labor collection and productivity analysis
• Support RFQ process
• Outsourcing analysis
• Revenue and expense accruals
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly and yearly closings
• Perform cost rolls

Qualification you need to succeed:
Experience Level: Mid-Level

Education: BS required in relevant field

• Minimum 5 years manufacturing cost accounting experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of labor collection systems
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software/strong Excel software skills
• Technical accounting skills
• Standard Costing Experience
• Confidentiality
