POSITION SUMMARY: This position will help drive, oversee, and manage a multi-generational growth strategy for the SMF business unit of Etnyre International. The person in this role will initially be responsible for governing execution of the manufacturing capacity expansion project and will continue to work on other ongoing growth-related process improvements for the heavy metal fabrication division of Etnyre International. This role plays a vital part in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage projects required for the success of monthly, quarterly, and annual operational targets
• Analyzes company processes and procedures
• Creates strategic plans for improving efficiency, reducing costs, or increasing revenue
• Champion Safety & Lean manufacturing practices
• Be the agent of change through establishing relationships and collaborating with other stakeholders to enhance productivity.
• Leads, with influence, identified improvement efforts through project management or Six Sigma process methodology across various areas of the organization, while providing coaching and guidance for identified project team members. Identifies obstacles to project success and solicits help when needed.
• Provides basic project management or Six Sigma methodology training to project team members.
• Drives data collection and analytics to identify improvement opportunities
• Supports the business unit in decision making through analyzed data from a lean perspective
• Develops improvement effort timelines, key milestones, and resource needs
• Performs other duties and needed or directed

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, process management, engineering, operations, or equivalent experience
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience leading projects in manufacturing environment
• Leadership and mentoring skills
• Proficiency with statistical and process management software, flow charting software, and excel
