This is a Masters-level position requiring knowledge of group process, family systems, developmental stages and mental health systems, regulations, and resources. A high degree of analytical and critical thinking skills are necessary to effectively make accurate and rapid judgement in critical situations. The position provides assessment, treatment, and discharge planning and is a valued member of the care team for our adult and child/adolescent inpatient psychiatric units.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work or psychosocial science required
2 years' experience in the mental health field
Responsibilities:
Assess the psychosocial needs of individuals receiving inpatient psychiatric care.
Work with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop, implement, and coordinate treatment and discharge plans.
Advocate for individuals' treatment needs and collaborate with community systems of support to ensure a comprehensive aftercare plan.
Schedule:
PRN (as needed) positions available
Flex schedules include daytime, evening and weekend hours.
