Sunset Vet Chattanooga provides home euthanasia services for dogs and cats in and around Hamilton County. While euthanasia is a difficult decision for clients, being able to help them in their time of need is very rewarding.

Since we are a mobile business, the Care Coordinator position is remote. You can work from home and wear whatever you want! We will meet in person or over Zoom to go over training, standard operating procedures, and have check-ins. Hours will generally start 11-3 EST Mon., Tues.,Fri. but could increase as business grows.

Sunset Vet Chattanooga is looking for a Care Coordinator to assist with:

• Answering phone calls, texts, emails during scheduled hours
• Scheduling appointments for clients
• Calling clients who have scheduled online to go over pricing, questions, etc.
• Posting memorials on website and social media
• General social media posts

The ideal candidate would:

• Be comfortable talking on the phone with people and understanding of their emotional state during this difficult process
• Be able to answer basic questions about the euthanasia process, pricing, etc.
• Be able to convert a person with a lot of questions to a consultation with the doctor (either telemedicine or house call)
• Have reliable internet connection for calls, scheduling, email
• Be able to quickly call clients back if call is missed and have missed calls be the exception rather than the norm

Required experience/qualities

• Previous veterinary experience preferred
• Empathetic but direct conversationalist
• Attention to detail
• Reliability with a flexible schedule
• Technologically savvy
• Local candidates are desirable but not necessary
