Abbott Osborn Jacobs PLC is a medium sized law firm looking for full time Litigation Collectors for our call center located in West Des Moines, IA. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills and strong personal initiative. As a Litigation Collector you will communicate with consumers via telephone regarding delinquent accounts currently in litigation. Key responsibilities include:

• Handle incoming collection calls
• Review account information and ask probing questions of the consumer to evaluate the consumer’s financial position

• Effectively negotiate payment arrangements with consumers to resolve delinquent balances

• Summarize and document conversation and payment plans

Requirements include:

• Good attendance

• Professional phone etiquette

• Moderate computer skills

• Strong communication skills

• Previous collection experience is helpful but not required. We have a comprehensive training program and previous litigation experience is also not required

Daytime Shifts Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (no evenings or week-ends)

Compensation is competitive and based on experience
