About the Team

This position is in the Enterprise Applications - Data Architecture & Analytics (DAA) area, within the Information Technology & Institutional Planning (IT&IP) Division. Under the direction of the Executive Director, DAA serves the university by providing leadership and support for data architecture, visualization, and analytics. The office provides action-oriented data that helps decision-makers throughout the university to foster student success and institutional effectiveness.

Job Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst applies expert technical knowledge and skills to design, develop and enhance complex database solutions that provide the foundation for business intelligence (BI) development used widely across the university.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will:

• Develops effective data models that integrate data from various sources
• Validate data to ensure accuracy, quality, and relevance of the BI architecture
• Develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implements ETL software code
• Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions
• Play a key role in all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Serve as a liaison with users in other areas to understand their analytics and reporting needs
• Develops new dashboards and reporting environments in response to requests from a variety of constituents, such as directors, associate deans, committee chairs, etc.

Key Requirements

• A bachelors level degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5 years of relevant full-time experience data reporting and report developing
