Our team at 45 North Cannabis in Turner, Maine is growing, and we are looking to employ knowledgeable and friendly budtenders who have strong communication and customer service skills and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

High School or equivalent (preferred)

Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Operate Point of Sales system

Cash handling Skills

Reliable Transportation

On-time Attendance

Must be a Maine Resident at least 21 years of age – State of Maine Recreational Cannabis Requirement

Salary

$15.00-20.00/hour.

To be successful you will need a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a desire to help each customer you encounter by making sure they are well informed and satisfied with their purchase.

The responsibilities of a budtender include keeping up to date with the latest State of Maine Cannabis compliance laws. Greeting and welcoming customers as you check their ID at the front door. Answering cannabis related questions such as the different strains that we offer, consumption, and dosing methods.

Budtender Responsibilities:

Budtenders are responsible for providing accurate up to date information and becoming familiar with all the different cannabis products that we sell.

Check Customer's IDs at the front door to ensure the customer is at least 21 years of age and have a valid ID (Not expired)

Upholding company policies and procedures.

Product knowledge

Sales of cannabis products

Ensuring that the dispensary is always clean and well-organized.

Correctly labeling cannabis products as required.

Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.

Updating Weedmaps platform.

What we’ll need from you:

Must pass a Criminal Background Check and obtain and maintain an IIC card per State of Maine and Office of Cannabis Policy regulations. We will take care of all processing fees.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
