RUBY JANE BOUTIQUE Assistant Store Manager

Join our amazing team assisting in managing day-to-day operations Steamboat's favorite boutique! This position involves retail selling, customer service, decorating and merchandising the store, website order fulfillment, and assisting with marketing within a growing local family-owned retail business.

Assistant Manager Qualifications:

• Must be available to work 30-40 hours, one weekend day most weeks
• Organized and structured individual with attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to prioritize and think strategically about the business; recognize areas of improvement and implement changes as needed
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Gmail, Google Drive
• Friendly and approachable customer service
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Professional, trustworthy, reliable and honest
• Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and owner
• Work independently and enjoy creating unique visual displays

Responsibilities

• Maintain the boutique’s visual displays, presence, cleanliness and customer service standards
• Communicate with the Regional Managers on a weekly basis to discuss sales goals and operations
• Receive new inventory, process and organize merchandise
• Merchandise the store weekly to ensure the floor looks fresh
• Handle website customer communications as needed, including phone and email management
• Assist with providing store specific photos or content for social media
• Conduct bi-annual inventory counts
• This position reports directly to the Regional Managers and works alongside other amazing store managers on a very supportive team.

Compensation:

• Hourly pay $20-25 based on experience (includes bonuses on monthly sales goals)
• Two weeks of earned vacation days annually + earned PTO/sick days
