The Windjammer is a very busy restaurant and bar located directly on Misquamicut Beach. We are open year round with our primary season May thru September. We have a very heavy tourist crowd and large band nights weekly. We are seeking experienced bartenders to join our team for the summer season. Customer Service, speed, reliability and attention to detail are keys to being successful here.

Bartender Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain positive attitude and smile
• Greet each guest warmly
• Full knowledge of food & drink menu
• Upsell & Promote specials
• Knowledge of weekly entertainment and special events
• General knowledge of beach area
• Complete all side work assigned
• Empty trashes and maintain cleanliness behind the bar

Qualifications

• Previous fast paced bartender experience preferred
• Solid knowledge of cocktails, beer & wines
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR

Requirements

• TIPS Certified
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to forty pounds
• Drug Free Work Environment
