Position Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for greeting customers, taking drink/food orders, mixing and preparing cocktails and other drinks, as well as serving beer and other beverages, and cash management; communicating potential problems to the managers on duty and the servers as necessary; providing the highest quality of service to customers and associates at all times; performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management.
This position is paid hourly and eligible for tips.

Minimum Knowledge:
Formal Education and Job-Related Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent and/or one – two years related experience and/or training
License, Registration, and/or Certification required: You will be required to take a training and certification on the safe service of alcohol.

Physical Effort: During the course of performing the physical demands of this position, associates are expected to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
The physical activity normally entails the following attributes.
Position is expected to:
Physical Environment: Indoor, restaurant environment.
Work Schedule: Must be available a minimum of 2 days per week. Shift times will vary with business needs.
Occupational Risks: There are inherent risks associated with the restaurant setting and may be required to take a safety training seminar.
Ergonomics Risks: The position has ergonomic risks that must understood i.e., lifting, reaching, carrying trays, etc.
Safety: Responsible for adhering to all safety policies and procedures of the property

· Maintain professional appearance and behavior when in contact with customers and fellow employees.
· Follow policies and procedures in training manuals and the employee handbook.

· Regular attendance and conformance with property standards is essential to the successful performance of this position.
