Summary of Position Responsibilities: This position will support the Director of Curriculum and Technology by working with the grant’s management system, technology needs, data collection and analysis, and organizing curriculum development and District-wide professional development. In addition, the position will maintain staff leave time and coordinate with the Human Resource Coordinator regarding FMLA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Director with investments within the Grants Management system;
  • Assists with the administration of local, state, and national student assessments;
  • Troubleshoot general software and network related problems concerning assessment systems;
  • Assist in coordinate make-up testing;
  • Assists in the review and submission of required local, state, and federal reports in compliance with established deadlines;
  • Support the Director of Curriculum and Instruction with general functions of the office including budget management and ordering;
  • Coordinates with the Human Resources Coordinator to track staff leave time (including paid leave of absence and formal suspension of staff), maintains leave through appropriate software, and helps determine FMLA timelines;
  • Assists school administration in ensuring the communication and documentation of student assessment records;
  • Creates data collection spreadsheets, notifications of expectations and deadlines, and reports for information gathering and public sharing;
  • Assists the Director of Curriculum and Technology in organizing data for programmatic decisions and District presentations;
  • Adheres to all regulations and rules relating to student and staff privacy;
  • Supports Director of Curriculum and Technology in organizing professional development services including procurement and consultant
  • Organizes Federal Grant reporting systems to ensure compliance;
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experiences: Bachelor’s Degree in business, education, technology, or other appropriate discipline or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are required.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, consultants, staff, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all measure units using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate courteously, efficiently, and effectively with various individuals, including students, staff, administrators, parents, and outside organizations. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with peers, subordinates, supervisors, parents, and outside agencies.

Computer Skills and Experience: Use Google Suite,data studio, as well as create and manage spreadsheets, data exports and imports.

Interpersonal Skills: The individual in this position must be dependable, maintain self-control, take feedback well, cooperate with an array of individuals and teams, show attention to detail, be flexible, work independently, and show integrity.
