We are looking for an Interim Executive Director to work with our current Executive Director who is looking to retire. We are a 501c3 nonprofit, 3-D fine art fabrication facility located in a 14,000sf Historic FEC Train Depot building in the heart of Lake Worth Beach, Florida. We have the largest glassblowing hot shop in the state. We offer classes in glassblowing, flame-working, fusing, glass casting and welding. We are hoping to add a foundry and stone carving as well. Currently we have 10 full or part-time employees. We operate a large outreach program providing free classes for 800 children a year, scholarships, bringing 4 or more renowned artists into the center each year to perform for the citizens of Palm Beach County. Our center also has a 2,000sf fine art gallery plus a separate gift shop. It is a beautiful and inspirational place to work.

Our Interim ED should be an extremely out-going and personable individual as he or she would also act as our ambassador to the community making appointments with potential sponsors and going to chamber meetings on behalf of the center. This person would help organize our fundraisers, oversee the Administrative Assistant who does much of the day-to-day chores such as scheduling, correspondance, returning calls, and bookkeeping. He or she would also be expected to work with the Creative Director and the President of the board on other various projects that come up such as our major outreach, visiting artist programs and our kids and teens programs.

It is emperative that this person be computer literate, have experience with Quick Books, grantwriting and managerial skills. Having sales experience would be a plus. We would like someone who has lived in Palm Beach County for at least five years.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
