Aftermarket Sales Representative

American Maplan Corporation, a leading manufacturer of extrusion machinery located in McPherson KS, is looking for a reliable and self-driven Aftermarket Sales Representative to join our team. This is a rare opportunity to break into the industry and gain valuable knowledge and experience in OEM sales. This is an important role, coordinating sales order fulfilment across all of our product lines.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and respond promptly to customer calls
• Formalize and follow up on sales quotes and sales orders
• Work with logistics personnel to facilitate shipping, customs, and exporting
• Occasional travel required for trade shows and training
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associates degree required, Bachelor’s preferred
• Plastics industry experience, beneficial
• OEM machinery industry experience, beneficial
• Knowledge of MS office applications
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience. SAP preferred
