Position Title: Accounts Payable Associate

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Your role
This role will give you the opportunity to enhance your skillset by incorporating high level of technological skills in an entirely paperless environment and be given the autonomy to find new or more creative and resourceful ways to accomplish the department's objectives.

What you’ll do
As an entry level Accounts Payable Associate, you will be performing accounting and data entry functions in the Accounts Payable department. Some of your specific responsibilities will include:

• Analyze and audit assigned vendor invoices and process for payment in a timely manner
• Review and pay aged invoices
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and errors
• Process weekly check runs

What you’ll need
To be a good fit for this opportunity you should have:

• 1-2 years previous experience in accounting environment
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and or finance a plus
• Demonstrated ability to operate software applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Yardi experience a plus
• Data entry experience using the 10-key
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Professional customer service skills
