Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares monthly client invoices for review by project managers; revises and corrects information as instructed.
  • Enters monthly invoices from consultants.
  • Edits time, disbursement entries, AP invoices, as requested.
  • Responds to questions from project managers and regarding status of billing and project expenses.
  • Enters adjustment and write-off transactions as requested by the Business Manager.
  • Assists Business Manager in AR collection process.
  • Prepares and prints final bills to send to clients.
  • Sets up new project records using Deltek Ajera.
  • Acts as a backup for Business Manager as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as requested and assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
  • Prior experience with project-based invoicing.
  • Prior experience in the A/E/C industry a plus.
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
  • Prior experience with accounting or billing software, Deltek Ajera a plus.
  • Approximately two to three years of on-the-job experience.
  • Ability to respond to requests requiring analysis of billing information.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate in person, via email, or by telephone with a diverse group of staff, clients and vendors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
