We are looking for an Bookkeeper to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. The Bookkeepers responsibilities include managing A/P and A/R, expense reports and reimbursements, managing our QuickBooks Online account, and reconciling bank account and credit cards. Ultimately, you will help our accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

Responsibilities

• Enter all invoices once approved and manage payment
• Reconcile bank accounting and credit cards monthly
• Reconcile vendor accounts and identify discrepancies
• Create and update expense reports
• Process reimbursement forms
• Prepare bank deposits
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases
• Check spreadsheets for accuracy
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
• Issue invoices to customers and external partners
• Review and file payroll documents
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits

Requirements

• Work experience in the construction industry, preferred
• Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Bookkeeper
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Good communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
• Good organization skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
