American Key Food Products is a better-for-you ingredients distributor that delivers functionally differentiated ingredients to North America through our team of innovative international supply partners and our domestic logistical network. Our customer portfolio includes multinational food corporations, large private food enterprises and next generation food start-ups striving to create new, better for you consumer products. AKFP focuses on the gluten free, grain free and non-GMO markets across the specialty baking, snack food, prepared food and pet food industries.

This role is designed to support American Key Food Products as well as its holding company, American Key Products, Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bookkeeping duties in SAP, including maintenance of business partner records, processing of collections/disbursements, input of non-inventory-related service invoices and credit memos, updating of monthly accounting schedules, etc
  • Assist with preparation of key sales reports, including monthly sales figures and other accounting related reports/analyses
  • Maintain and organize key files related to administrative functions, including credit applications, customer reference requests, taxes, vendor contracts/payments, insurance, etc
  • Coordinate office operations and associated vendors, including cleaning, deliveries, office supplies, internet, etc
  • Handle all incoming calls, incoming/outgoing mail, booking of flights, and other related ad hoc functions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Previous experience in an administrative or accounting related position preferred

Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external partners
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and driven
  • Well versed with Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Previous ERP experience a plus (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, etc). We use SAP Business One.

  • AKFP is a Limited Liability Partnership based in Closter, New Jersey
  • This is a full-time position. Currently, employees average 3-4 days per week in the office.
  • Adheres to guidelines for Covid-19 protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
